There's Actually Traffic?

I just noticed that the main road has an HOV lane. Why on earth does a town of just over twenty-thousand need one of those for?

Welcome to the east side of the west coast and the great Pacific Northwest.

Some of us do root for the Cougars from time to time (it sounds like you are settling in Pullman) but only when they are not playing the Huskys, Beavers or Ducks...

BTW, central and northern Idaho is definitely prettier than the rolling grasslands around Pullman. They became pretty boring to me the 2nd or 3rd time I drove between Pullman and, well, anywhere else.

Actually, I am in Idaho, just at the border with Washington. I find it really amusing that I drive past the "Welcome to Washington!" and "Welcome to Idaho!" signs every time I go between Pullman and Moscow.

I find that a lot of people complain about the scenery around Pullman--but that just doesn't compare to the monotonous farmland in Missouri.

Wow, that is quite a change. Welcome to these parts -- although if memory serves, you used to live a few hours away in Southwest Canada.

Or am I mistook?

Chad

Thanks for the welcome!

I spent some time visiting southwest Canada, not living there. (I have also lived in southeast Canada, but that was a long time ago.) For the past year, I have been living in the souteastern US.
