Actually, according to all the brochures I got from the local visitor's center, this is Lentil Country. All I can say is--the scenery is really different. My main question is, where are all the trees? Or rather, deciduous trees. There are some of those scattered throughout the place, but mostly it's rolling grassy hills. At least it's not as bad as the time I lived in Southern California when there was nothing but scrawny palm trees. The two thousand plus road trip went through some spectacular country, particularly along the border of Idaho going over the Rockies. I'll probably expound upon it later when I have more reliable internet service. And until the next post, Happy 4th!
