Let's say you're a student at a certain school in Hanover but you've decided to live anywhere outside of that town because of exorbitant rents due to desperate but wealthy undergraduates. My advice is, do not look at any place further than fifteen minutes away (via driving) even if you can get an entire house for dirt cheap. You're going to waste tons of money on gas, driving in the snow obviously won't be fun, and (forget at the moment my previous rantings about Hanover being in the boondocks) you're really out in the middle of nowhere. You'd be lucky if you have a cow for a neighbor.
