Friday, January 16, 2004 Interesting Trivia: The bestselling author, Dan Brown, who wrote The Da Vinci Code used to go to Dartmouth. The profs here gave him C's and didn't like his short stories. (Before The Da Vinci Code came out, I noticed that the Dartmouth bookstore had relegated all of his novels to the bargain bin.) Nicholas Sparks who wrote Message in a Bottle and other mainstream love stories apparently is a professor here teaching people how to write bestsellers.
