There's something both refreshing and bittersweet when the holidays arrive. There's no more classes, but then in the back of your mind, you know the holidays themselves won't last forever. I went shopping today. There were weird people on the streets, like characters who stepped out of some fairy tale in their fluffly bright dresses. Or people who look like they've stepped out of a seedy movie like some old woman I saw who wore a sparkly silver turban and cape as well as some blue slippers with her purple pants. Brings to mind the Millikan Man who also wears a turban (either pink or purple), a really short skirt, and panty hose. He says he's trying to dress like a Renaissance man. I think he's cracked because most of the time he raves about how Caltech stole all the royalties from his physics invention.
